Motivation: Decision making in the agri-food sector is highly dependent on the underlying evidence. Joining the EU-NESA cost action might provide an actual opportunity to raise awareness among decision-makers and academia about the value of evidence synthesis, enhancing the European capacity for delivery of robust evidence synthesis, and to facilitate their use for informed decision-making.
Contribution: Through structured interviews and the study of synthetic reports, I will contribute to the assessment of the current state of Evidence Synthesis in the sector and identify research gaps. I will contribute to scientific publications focusing on e-publication opportunities and obstacles faced by end-users, who are the key actors involved in the decision-making processes of the ES approach.
