Scientific Expertise: Hydrology, water resources
Motivation: I'm a PhD researcher with experience in interdisciplinary research and sustainable resource management, I believe I can contribute to the COST Action "Network for Evidence Synthesis in the Agri-Food Sector." My academic background in Integrated Water Resources Management and current research focuses on modelling climate change impacts on urban agriculture position me to bring a unique perspective to this initiative. Having participated in COST Actions initiatives like NEXUSNET, I appreciate the collaborations among such networks between diverse stakeholders and networking opportunities. I aim to actively contribute to enhancing Evidence syntheses methodologies towards sustainable agri-food systems. As a junior scientist, joining this COST action and the working groups will allow me to contribute to the aims of the COST Action, network with experienced researchers and other junior scientists, and enhance my profile.
Contribution: I want to join WG 1 and WG4. I can contribute by including my research background and scientific writing to the tasks of WG1 especially Tasks 1.2 and 1.3. I have recently published in a high-impact factor journal (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.scs.2024.105830), which used a systematic literature review approach to synthesize findings on methods used in urban agriculture research. I can also join WG4 to work on organising and supporting the workshops and training schools.
