Motivation: My strong dedication to improving the sustainability and resilience of the agri-food sector is what led me to join the COST Action CA23107, Network for Evidence Synthesis in the Agri-Food Sector (EU-NESA). A cooperative network that focuses on combining excellent evidence to guide practice and policy is something I'm excited to support and be a part of. This project is in line with my professional objectives, which are to advance sustainable farming practices and evidence-based decision-making. Through my involvement in EU-NESA, I hope to use my knowledge of data analysis and systematic reviews to produce thorough insights that tackle urgent problems facing the agri-food industry. Moreover, I am excited about working with professionals from all throughout Europe, exchanging ideas, and creating creative plans that promote food security and sustainable development.
Contribution: I aim to assist the Working Groups of COST Action CA23107, Network for Evidence Synthesis in the Agri-Food Sector (EU-NESA), by using my expertise in data analysis, systematic reviews, and agricultural sciences. I'll be collaborating with WG1 to evaluate the evidence synthesis processes in place and identify any areas in need of improvement. I will design and deliver WG2 training programmes to assist researchers and practitioners in developing their synthesis skills for high-quality evidence. I'll collaborate with WG3 members to create innovative strategies tailored to the needs of the agri-food sector. To ensure that decisions are well-supported by evidence, I will attempt to translate the findings of the evidence synthesis into insightful knowledge for WG4 policymakers. Finally, I will work with WG5 to share best practices, promote teamwork, and distribute research findings through a range of communication channels to build a robust, cohesive community inside the network.
