Scientific Expertise: Energy and fuels
Motivation: The experience gained through recent projects (AGAR, Energy Cube and IoT Soltrack) indicated the importance of decision making in the Agri-food sector, especially for penetration of new, digitized technologies in this sector. The situation with farms and the food sector in Serbia with application and investments in the environment protection technologies, aimed at fostering the EU IPPC directive, also implies the significance of these issues. Hence, I would like to share my experience from Serbia, but also participate in developing new strategies for helping decision makers make sustainable decisions in the food sector.
Contribution: Given my primary research field is sustainable energy system optimization, which may be considered transitional solutions for sustainable energy supply towards 100% renewable energy, and the practical on site background gained through operations with real companies working on Low carbon projects, energy audits, cleaner production etc., I strongly believe that I can contribute to both scientific and practical challenges of the this cost action. I have been involved in many projects, and consider myself to be team oriented and goal driven team member. In this particular field , I am sure I can contribute given my both scientific and practical experience and know how, and am eager to exchange experiences and knowledge with researchers from this field. I would greatly appreciate to be able to participate in this action, shall I be given the opportunity.
