Scientific Expertise: Economics and Agriculture Policy
Motivation: I have also been dedicated to working in my PhD thesis focusing on the “Impact of subsidies in agri-food sector”, which enriched the Albanian literature, performing research referring to the Propensity Score Matching Methodology, which was introduced for the first time in Albania. I have strong theoretical preparation in the field of economics and in particular in relation to the evaluation of agricultural policies. My theoretical preparation is best evidenced in my scientific works, which include a number of scientific articles published in international and domestic scientific journals, papers in various local and international seminars or conferences. I have been publishing 3 scientific articles, of which 2 abroad, as well as presented 6 papers at national or international conferences.
Contribution: My research is focused sustainable development, agriculture economics, agriculture policy and policy impact evaluation, rural tourism management and circular economy, international business management. circular economy, consumer protection, environmental impact. I am able to stimulate reflection and dissemination to an audience and focus and involve specific groups of experts -by-experience, and I could enable to involve them during cost action in order for them to transfer knowledge to young generation, focusing on business ideas and solutions, my contacts are mainly of those who have experience in agribusiness. I am able to implement Consultancy with stakeholders, including students, agri-business companies. I am able to contribute to the objectives of NESA to raise awareness among decision-makers and academia about the value of ES; to enhance the European capacity for delivery of robust evidence syntheses; and to facilitate their use for informed decision-making.
