Scientific Expertise: Health services, health care research
Motivation: As a medical doctor and member of the GRADE Planetary Health Working Group, I am committed to promoting sustainability through evidence-informed decision-making. My participation in GRADE Planetary Health reflects my concerns about the interconnectedness between health, environment, and sustainability, motivating me to explore solutions and contribute beyond my core field. Although my knowledge of the agri-food sector is limited, I am particularly interested in the methodological aspects of this COST Action. By contributing my skills in evidence synthesis and learning from experts in agri-food, I hope to support the development of rigorous, interdisciplinary frameworks that enhance evidence-based decision-making and address pressing sustainability challenges.
Contribution: I bring expertise in evidence synthesis, including guideline development using the GRADE approach. My background has provided me with a strong methodological foundation and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration. By joining this COST action, I aim to contribute by supporting the development of evidence synthesis methodologies, supporting capacity-building efforts, and promoting the practical application of evidence-informed decision-making. My experience in engaging diverse stakeholders may help facilitate knowledge exchange and overcome barriers to the adoption of evidence synthesis approaches. I am particularly motivated to collaborate with experts across different disciplines to increase the adoption and accessibility of evidence synthesis methods.
