Scientific Expertise: Sustainable production

Motivation: I am keen to join this COST Action because its theme is central to my research interests and I believe that I could make a valuable contribution towards its aims and objectives by playing an active role in the Working Groups. I am involved in a number of other COST Actions which have synergies with EU-NESA: I am a Management Committee member and Working Group leader (WG3 – Policy measures) of CA20138 Network on Water-Energy-Food Nexus for a Low-Carbon Economy in Europe and Beyond (NEXUSNET), and a Working Group member of CA20134 Towards Zero Pesticide Agriculture: European Network for Sustainability (T0P-AGRI), CA22134 Sustainable Network for Agrofood Loss and Waste Prevention, Management, Quantification and Valorisation (FoodWaStop) and CA22156 Transformations International Experience and Research Network for Sustainable Futures (TransformERS).

Contribution: I would welcome the opportunity to engage in scoping and mapping exercises, to contribute to co-authored publications and the development of training materials, and to attend in person and virtual meetings, conferences and workshops, and I would be proactive in disseminating the work of the Working Groups among my network.
